My doll has vintage clothes too, because we have the same taste and we like vintage both of us. I made for her an ensemble for the evening, from satin duchess and fake fur. I named it "blue dream".
The pattern and the sewing are handmade, following the classic procedure of Haute Couture: first a complete seath dress was created from the blue satin for underneath and then the balloon was sewn above the seath dress.
The fabric is stiff enough to hold the balloon skirt away from the body and its shine is subtle, so the dress can be accompanied by a fake fur stole in pale blue, lined with the satin duchess.
Barbie knows all the secrets of elegence, that's why she is wearing classic pumps without decoration in the same color as the dress and simple golden earrings. Her makeup has strong eye liner and red lipstick and she wearing in her nails a medium red nail polish.
(p.s It's my fault that she hasn't got a purse, I misplace it but it will turn out some day)
